One day just isn’t enough! Join the Sinclair community and local veterans by participating in Veteran Appreciation Week. Movies, Ted Talks, and a complimentary luncheon are just a few of the many events scheduled to commemorate our veterans.
There are 18 million veterans that have served and currently reside in the United States. With a vast number such as this, many of us may know a veteran personally, and just might consider one to be a friend, co-worker, loved one, or even parent— veterans impact many lives. Originating in 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama, Veterans day seeks to pay homage to those who have served in the U.S. military and have risked their lives protecting the American nation.
