According to statistics provided by the National Center for Education Statistics, 39 percent of all
students enrolled at Sinclair for the Fall 2016 semester were 25 years of age or older.

Students of this age demographic are most likely not just dealing with academics. They are also
juggling part-time or full-time jobs, taking care of their families, and other responsibilities. And
while academic support is important, that may not be all students need.

Sinclair has a variety of resources for students who may be looking for help outside of the
classroom; a few of them are listed below.

include relationships, depression/anxiety, and eating disorders. While Sinclair counselors
cannot replace therapists, they can help point students in the direction of further resources.
