March has arrived and good weather is right around the corner. Last week was spring break for Sinclair students, faculty, and staff. The Clarion staff wanted to get an insight on students’ plans for this year’s spring break–whether it be traveling, hanging out with friends and family, or catching up on schoolwork

What are your plans for this upcoming spring break?

Aqdar Alobaid – Major: Agricultural Sciences

“I don’t have any specific plans, however, I am moving into a different apartment in Dayton. I also plan to try and catch up on assignments. This is only my second semester here at Sinclair so this will be my first actual spring break. I’m a full-time student so I have a lot of work that I’ll be working on. I’m from Saudi Arabia so most of my family is back home but I do plan on spending time with my friends.”

Malachi Rubio – Major: Biology

“During spring break, I plan on going to the shooting range at least one time. I also am going to drive to Cleveland to hang out with some friends of mine I haven’t seen in a while. During the break, I also must read a book for my major, so I plan on getting that done as well. Other than that, I am just looking forward to spending time with friends and family.”

Luke Holland-  Major: Exercise and Movement Science

“This spring break I’m going to see FC Cincinnati vs. D.C United at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati. I also plan on going to Columbus to watch the Blue Jackets Game at the Nationwide Arena. Besides those things I just plan on working and enjoying the week off.”

Emily Tallman – Major: Occupational Therapy Assistant

“I plan on catching up on schoolwork. I am enrolled in the OTA program here at Sinclair and it is pretty intense so this week off is a good opportunity for me to focus on that. I also am going to go to Columbus to see some family of mine. This is the second spring break I’ve had at Sinclair which I stayed home for both breaks.”
