This spring semester, Sinclair will once again be hosting the Puppies on Campus event! All students are welcome to stop by the Dayton campus on April 30 and May 1 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

This event is meant to be a relief from all the stress due to finals, end-of-year projects or anything else that may warrant a need for a break. The cuteness of the puppies will surely make you forget about your responsibilities— at least for a little while!

As usual, this is expected to be a well-attended event. In fact, this is one of the largest Sinclair talks of the year, and hundreds of students attended the last time it was hosted.

The dogs at the Puppies on Campus event will be from the non-profit group 4 Paws for Ability. The puppies involved in this organization are turned into qualified service dogs and are used to improve the lives of disabled children, wounded veterans and other individuals and families who need their assistance.

At this event, there will be anywhere from around 2 to 8 dogs present. It all depends on what dogs the agency has at the moment. And while there is no guarantee, there may even be hypoallergenic dogs for those with allergies.

If you want to attend this event, you must sign a waiver. You can either visit Room 025 in building 8 and sign it in advance, or you may also sign the waiver when you get there.

Puppies on Campus is set up in a specific way in order to make it as fun and safe as possible. Chairs will be set up in a square – there will be newspaper covering every area on the floor. There are usually 25-30 chairs, also meaning that 25-30 people may attend at a time.

In the past, students have been more than elated about this event. Seeing the puppies brings joy to them, and the puppies are happy to see the students as well.

As always, the Puppies on Campus event is bound to be a success, so feel free to stop by.
