My Name is W. Cerridwyn Kuykendall, I’m the new Associate Editor at the Clarion. I’m a college credit plus student working on getting my associates in Liberal Arts at Sinclair.
I have been a reporter at the Clarion for a little over a semester and I’m looking forward to doing the best I can in my new position at the paper.
Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I knew I had to find a career that allowed me to write. Originally I wanted to be a fiction author, even finished a novel, but in my freshman year of high school I took an English Comp class at Sinclair. This honestly changed my life.
I fell in love with essay writing, and soon after realized I wanted to be a journalist. I’m now a high school junior solely studying at Sinclair, and greatly appreciative of the opportunity to gain this experience working on the editorial staff.
As Associate Editor I hope to write and print stories that students will really benefit from and want to read, and build a better connection between Sinclair students and the Clarion. Here’s to another great semester!
