Everyday we are all taken in by beautiful scenery on the big screen. We love to watch stories play out before our eyes rather it’s good or bad. Hollywood has left its mark on the world and in our hearts forever, but did you know a lot of your favorite movies and TV shows are not shot in Hollywood? While some believe the writing of the film industry has became sloppy and careless, Hollywood has up’d it’s game when it comes to actually filming. I’m going to take you around the United States to other lucky places that got the Hollywood buzz over the years. We’ll also be going out of country to Hollywood’s next biggest filming place.
- New York : The big Apple is first on our list. Many know it as the fashion capital of the world but with its big city glamour and nonstop action, Hollywood has claimed this area for many movies and scenes. The blockbuster hit The Godfather made its home right there in the city and through the state. Comedian Adam Sandler also took to New York to film one of his classics Mr. Deeds. Central Park has also played many scene on the big screen in movies like Letters to Juliet, The Happening, Remember Me, and many more. TV also lives there with huge shows like Project Runway, 2 Broke Girls, Kings of Queens, and Friends. New York has became quite the magical place.
- Georgia : The lands of Georgia have been getting the film invasion over the last years. Everyone knows television most famous apocalypse show The Walking Dead has been filming there for six years now but the film industry also got a taste of the South as well. Huge film hit The Hunger Games have been filming all 4 movies in the state causing quite the uproar. As the district’s get ready to take down the capital, many other movies have been filmed there as well such as Blended, The Internship, The Crazies, The Blindside, and Need for Speed.
- Hawaii : The beautiful islands have become the hot spot for many movies lately. With all the scenic areas around the islands, it makes for a prefect movie getaway spot. Jurassic Park was a huge grousing movie over the years that was filmed in the Hawaiian Islands and still till this day it is one of the biggest movies made with Jurassic World. Other memorable movies made on the gorgeous islands include 50 First Dates, The Descendants, Just Go With It, and many more. TV show hit Lost was also filmed in the jungle of the islands creating quite the tour spot.
- Canada: Canada has become the next Hollywood with numerous filming locations all over the map. Just to name a few huge hits that were made there include The Incredible Hulk, Mean Girls, Brokeback Mountain, and My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Canada also gave their hand out to help with parts of films that range anywhere from Twilight to Titanic.
