During the week of April 8 through April 12, Sinclair Community College will be recognizing student workers.
“Overall, they contribute to the school, they contribute significant roles to the specific departments that they work in and the benefit for the student is development in professionalism, [and] give them the opportunity to make extra money,” Tanya Grant, coordinator for Career Services said.
On Monday, a ceremony was held that acknowledged 24 student workers.
The supervisors of the departments the students work in were given evaluation forms to fill out about each employee. Each employee that scored more than 25 points was recognized. The supervisors then wrote remarks about the employees and read them during the ceremony.
