The National Society of Leadership and Success will host a webinar featuring Rudy Giuliani, who was the mayor of New York City during 9/11.
President of NSLS Frank Browning said Giuliani is speaking about how to face a crisis as a leader.
“That’s something everyone needs to know,” Browning said. “Because when you’re a leader, you’re going to have crisis — regardless of the situation. There’s always going to come a time.”
Browning said Giuliani was praised for managing and handling 9/11 effectively.
“I do think Rudy’s handling of the crisis was very, very good and a very great deed for the country,” he said. “I think everyone has a lot to learn from his experience, because it all comes down to, what if we were in that situation? What would we do? And that’s something we need to know.”
Giuliani will be speaking live on the web to several colleges across the country.
Although students must be required to be an NSLS member to access the webinar at home through societyleadership.org, non-members can view the webinar in the basement of Building 8 in the stage area on Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. Popcorn will be provided, but attendees must bring their own drinks.
