The Corporation for National and Community Service named Sinclair Community College to the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll.
Six schools earned the Presidential Awards, while 83 earned Honor Roll with Distinction and 546 schools were named to the Honor Roll.
The Community Service Honor Roll is the highest recognition a school can achieve for its commitment to service-learning and civic engagement. Honorees are selected based on a variety of factors, including:
- Scope and innovation of service projects
- Percentage of student participation in service activities
- Incentives for service
- The extent to which the school offers service-learning courses
