NFL Recap – Week One and Two

ByTheClarion

Oct 4, 2021 ,

With weeks one and two over in the NFL, it is good to know that football, along with fans in the stadiums, is back. Through these first two weeks, this season has started off with some surprises. Let’s break down the first two weeks of the season.

Week one had some big games to start off the season. The Thursday night football game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a great first game, with the Buccaneers winning 31-29.

Another big game was the Cleveland Browns vs. the Kansas City Chiefs, which was a rematch from last year’s playoffs. This game went back-and-forth until the Chiefs ended up winning the game 33-29. With there being many other close games and one that even went into overtime, this was overall a great way to start the season.

Week two was just as exciting and really showed that some teams have a good chance at the Super Bowl, while others aren’t looking too good. With week 2 done we’ll have to see if anything changes standing-wise.

After these first two weeks, how the teams stand is pretty clear. The National Football Conference West has the best-combined record at 7-1, whereas the worst division record is the American Football Conference South with a record of 2-6. The rest of the divisions are somewhere in between these two. Week three kicked off on Thursday, Sept. 23, with week four kicking off Thursday, Sept. 30.
