Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel Exhibition at the Fairfield Mall in Beavercreek is a unique opportunity to view the magnificent masterpieces of Michelangelo up close and in stunning detail. The exhibit will be available to view until Feb. 13.

The exhibition is composed of a never-before-seen perspective of true-to-life digitally reproduced images of the original masterpieces by Michelangelo, piece by piece. A rare opportunity to experience his masterpieces and never leave Ohio.

Before entering the exhibition, team leader Cindy Dessecker will do ticket check-in at the front desk. Depending on the ticket purchased, she will give instructions on how to tour the exhibit.

“We have been busy since we opened last week,” said Dessecker.

The weekends are the busiest with the heaviest flow of traffic through the exhibit. Selling only a certain number of tickets in every half-hour time slot helps maintain social distancing, according to Dessecker.

The tour is self-guided and self-paced with information on signage next to each floor-to-ceiling piece. Audio guides are available to rent at the exhibit which gives a detailed description of each piece. Masks are not required to be worn in the building and taking photos is welcome and encouraged inside the exhibition.

“The best time to visit the exhibition is during the week, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. If you are running late for your reserved spot, no problem I will make sure we get you in,” said Dessecker.
