Tuesday, Nov. 2 was election day across America. This specific election covered issues such as local mayors, school boards, city councils, issues, and tax levies.
Here is a small look into what election night looked like for many counties across Ohio.
Montgomery County elected the following mayors: Mike Stevens (Clayton), Jeffrey J. Mims Jr. (Dayton), Terry Johnson (Germantown), and Jeffery Gore (Huber Heights).
Other mayors who won include Mitch Rhodus (Fairfield), Pat Moller (Hamilton), and Jeff D. Hickey (West Alexandria).
Winners for Montgomery County school board’s newest elected members include Judy Hoover and Joy Eyler (Brookville); David Roer, John R. Doll, Megan E. Murray Sparks (Centerville); Chrisondra Goodwine, Joe Lacey, and Jocelyn Rhynard (Dayton); Kelly G. Bledsoe, Marl A. Combs, and William Harris (Huber Heights); Jim Ambrose, Toby K. Henderson, and Mark J. Matin (Kettering); Cristina M. Pickle, Marilyn Steiner, and Ruth Newhouse (Mad River).
Winners of the city council for Montgomery County are as follows: JoAnne C. Rau, John E. Palcher, and Bill Serr (Centerville); Tina Kelly, Greg Merkle, Brendan Bachman (Clayton); Adrienne Draper, Andrew Gough, and Darren J. Sawmiller (Englewood); J. Brian Wafzig, Michael T. Kuhn and Rob Rettich (Germantown); Nancy L. Byrge, Kate Baker, Anita Kitchen, and Mark Campbell (Huber Heights); Jacqueline L. Fisher, Lisa M. Duvall, and Bob Scott (Kettering).
