Boston Stoker celebrated their 48 year anniversary on Monday, Sept. 13. Boston Stoker is one of Ohio’s leading and longest-running independent roasters of gourmet coffee. The locally owned business was founded by Don and Sally Dean in Englewood, Ohio, in 1973.
Boston Stoker celebrated their anniversary with deals such as $5 off of all 12oz bags of coffee, $1 off all beverages, and buy 3 cigars, get one free.
To see and read about the growth of Boston Stoker is impressive; their focus was originally on tobacco but now they specialize in coffee as well. Now, 48 years later they are still around and have all different kinds of specialty brewed coffee, including snickerdoodle and hazelnut flavors. Since their opening in 1973, they have opened six new Boston Stoker locations and a roasting facility.
The nearest Boston Stoker to Sinclair is on W. 2nd St. in downtown Dayton. Be sure to visit and keep the coffee shop open for another 48 years!
