Three classic Castlevania titles will be making their long-awaited return when they are released on modern consoles later today. The recently announced “Castlevania Dominus Collection” also comes with a new version of the first game in the franchise, breathing new life into the much-loved franchise.

As part of the collection, three titles originally released on the Nintendo DS are being brought back for the first since their initial release between 2005-2008. They include “Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow”, “Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin”, and “Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia”. Soon, millions of gamers worldwide will have a chance to experience several of the DS’s most acclaimed action-adventure titles. The collection is being released on the Nintendo Switch, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam.

According to Nintendo’s Eshop, the new version of the first Castlevania included in the collection is titled “Haunted Castle Revisited”. It is being called a “redesign” of the original as opposed to a remake. The collection also includes a number of new features and artwork for vampire slayers to discover.
