The holidays promise good food, family, and plenty of shopping. But with plenty of deals to keep your loved ones smiling, there’s no need to fret. Whether rewarding yourself or a special someone in your life, there are many ways to save on gifts this year.

  1. Gifts for Gamers

This year will go down as one of the most stacked in gaming history, with so many phenomenal games coming out it seemed impossible to play them all. Not only was there simply not enough time to keep up with each release, but prices doubtlessly kept many of us away. Have no fear, even if you missed those wondrous Black Friday deals. At the time of writing, “Street Fighter 6” is just $44 on Amazon, “Resident Evil 4” a lowly $29, and “Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon” just $39.99 despite coming out just four months ago.

  1. Great Book Deals

Retailers have us book lovers covered with a ton of deals to keep us sated. Whether you shop at Barnes and Noble or Half Price Books, there are plenty of tantalizing gifts for the bookworm in your life this season. Among the hottest titles this year are Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah’s acclaimed debut “Chain Gang Allstars”, “Lone Women” by Victor Lavalle, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Viet Thanh Nguyen’s memoir  “A Man of Two Faces”, and the grimdark megahit “The End and The Death Vol. II” by Dan Abnett.

  1. Clothes, Candy, and Other Old Favs

Retailers are practically giving away holiday staples. Stocking stuffers of every variety, from chocolate to candy, can be had for cheap. Not to mention the plethora of sweaters, hats, antlers, and socks flying off the shelves at the time of writing.

Those are just some of the gifts to keep an eye out as you shop for deals this holiday season.
