Summer background

Summer has officially arrived in Miami Valley! While some Sinclair students may be taking classes during this time, there is nowhere near as much to do on campus compared to Spring and Fall. Fortunately, there is still plenty to do just a few minutes drive from Sinclair. Check out some of the season’s hottest events below:

Concerts at the Levitt Pavilion

The Levitt is back with more live music for the Dayton community all season long! Every Thursday through Saturday, the venue will feature local and national acts from a wide array of genres. Catch crowd favorites like Bohemian Funk and the Levitt National Tour’s headline artist La Santa Cecilia for free!

Heartsiq’s Mixtape: A Queer Arts Festival, June 2-4 at Yellow Cab Tavern

Kick-off your Dayton Pride celebrations with a weekend dedicated to queer artists, drag performers, vendors, food, and more!

Indigo, June 7-25 at The Loft Theatre

Experience a heartwarming musical about a family confronting illness and the past. Directed by Catie Davis, the production is the brainchild of the celebrated Broadway composer Jay Kuo, Tony Award-winning producer Lorenzo Thione, and internationally-recognized lyricist Scott Evan Davis.

Rail Festival, June 24-25 at Carillon Park

What will you see at this event? Trains, trains, and more trains! A fun and educational ride through rail history that is perfect for the whole family.

A more detailed list of events can be found at downtowndayton.org. Which ones will you be attending?
