The Brite Signal Alliance, a student club focusing on tolerance toward sexual orientation and gender identity, is planning to have an outdoor rally at Sinclair Community College on April 29.
Club advisor Robbin Hoopes said there will be multiple speakers at the event inlcuding City Commissioner Nan Whaley and Dayton Board of Education member Joe Lacey. Representatives from the Greater Dayton LGBT Center, Equality Ohio, TransOhio and Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) are also scheduled to speak.
The rally will take place on April 29 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the plaza area in front of Building 10. The Brite Signal Alliance meets on Tuesdays at 4 p.m. in Building 9 Room 204. For more information contact club advisor Robbin Hoopes at robbin.hoopes@sinclair.edu.
