Although we’re in the final weeks of the semester, be sure not to miss out on these upcoming Sinclair events!
Tenant Resource Fair
Date: April 18.
Time: 12-2 p.m.
Location: Building 12, Charity Earley Auditorium
Know your rights and available resources as a renter in Montgomery County. This includes information on:
- Eviction and homelessness prevention
- Food insecurity resources
- Mental health resources
The fair will include informative sessions, workshops, and booths hosted by local organizations dedicated to tenant rights, legal assistance, financial planning, and community services. The event is completely free with a lunch being offered (first come, first serve).
Appalachian Heritage Week: Voices of the Valley
Date: April 21-24.
Location: Building 10, Welcome Center Lobby
Make time to experience Voices of the Valley, an audio exhibit with the stories of Appalachia by octo- and nonagenarians as shared with a local interviewer. Bring your phone and earbuds! Bachelor Bound Workshop: Ohio State University
Date: April 24.
Time: 12-1:30 p.m.
Location: Building 10, Lower Level, Room 9/Zoom
Connect with Transfer Representatives from the Ohio State University to learn more about the transfer process. Great for anyone interested in transferring to OSU. Students can RSVP here.
Transfer 101 Workshop: Transcripts and Transitioning
Date: April 30.
Time: 3-4 p.m.
Location: Building 10, Lower Level, Room 009
Learn how to send your transcripts to future institutions. The Transfer 101 Workshop is also a place to pick up tips and advice on transferring to a four-year university. Click here to RSVP.
Lavender Graduate Recognition & Shindig
Date: April 30.
