June 16, Max
Its almost time to head back to Westeros for the second instalment of ‘A Game of Thrones’ flaming hot spinoff series. Season one ended with a bang and fans of Rhaenyra Targaryen are eager to see what she and Daemon are cooking up for their foes. The civil war known as the Dance of Dragons is kicking into high-gear on Max this June 16.
June 4, Disney+
Since taking over the Star Wars brand, one of Disney’s biggest contributions to that beloved galaxy far-far away is the High Republic era. Its been featured in books and comics to critical acclaim. Now, it’s waltzing onto Disney+ propelled by the acting talents of Lee Jung-jae, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Manny Jacinto among many others.
June 6, Netflix
Two of the most popular martial arts franchises in manga history are going head-to-head in this wild crossover movie. Six characters, three from each series, will feature in a clash of styles. Its trailer shows off plenty of smooth animation and bone-crunching action.
June 14, AppleTV+
Jake Gyllenhaal leads this adaptation of former defense attorney Scott Turow’s classic debut that has gripped readers since 1987. Showrunner David E. Kelley has a track record of bringing complex legal dramas to the screen, including 2022’s “The Lincoln Lawyer” and last year’s “Love & Death”. Backed by strong source material and an excellent cast, Presumed Innocent could be another treat AppleTV+ viewers.
June 13, Amazon Prime
Everybody’s favorite capes and villains are back for another season. Prepare for more madness, action, and the shenanigans that have kept us glued to our screens three seasons in a row.
