The Spurs, who have lost two back-to-back games handily, will be coming back to home cooking against the Raptors.
Though the Spurs currently sport a losing record, it’s still early in the season and forward Richard Jefferson is slowly providing the results that the Spurs have been looking for averaging 18 points over the last two games – two of which they lost.
The Raps big men have been performing outstanding, so far. All-Star Chris Bosh is averaging a double-double, while ’06 number one draft pick Andrea Bargnani is scoring 20 points and one block a game.
The Spurs have been perfect at home and losing against the Raps will put the Spurs on a three-game losing streak, which is unusual for a perennial contender. Saying that, I think the Raps will surprise the Spurs with a MVP-worthy performance in his home state of Texas.
