It has been a long time away, but now it is time for the return of The Unpopular Opinion. What better way to return than looking at the rich history of one of WWE’s biggest events and figuring out which one is the cream of the crop.
“The Granddaddy of them All,” “The Showcase of the Immortals,” “The Ultimate Thrill Ride,” “The Super Bowl of Professional Wrestling;” these are all names that correlate to the one event known as, WrestleMania.
In 1984, one man had a vision to combine the world of wrestling with the world of Hollywood in one mega event. The man’s vision ended up as the creation of WrestleMania. That man being, Vince McMahon.
The Rock n’ Wrestling Connection boomed with the birth of WrestleMania. With the debut of MTV (Music Television), it helped promote the big event with celebrities like Cyndi Lauper and Mr. T.
Also, being in the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden, helped draw the world together, which made WrestleMania the success that it has become today.
Every year since then has created not only some of the biggest matches in wrestling history, it has also creates moments that draw the world in with every emotion in their being.
Every WrestleMania create moments that the world remembers for years to come. WrestleMania moments are times in history where it feels like time stands still and emotions are at its peak.
Wrestling fans all one day migrate to WrestleMania because being at the event is an experience unlike any other. Experiencing the emotions and feeling the energy from the thousands of people around you is a moment that you never forget.
WrestleMania is an event where a year’s worth of storylines climax. Rivalries and historic matches tend to happen on the biggest stage in front of its biggest audience. It truly is the Super Bowl of sports entertainment.
With that being said, we are on the Road to WrestleMania, so why not compile in my opinion, the greatest WrestleManias. This list will definitely be debatable, especially the top 2.
However, this list has gone through much careful and thought out consideration and I feel this is my definitive list of the top 10 WrestleManias of all time.
